Eve Selis Dark Sky Blue CD Release Concert

It’s finally finished!!!!!!

The Music Project I started six years ago has finally been completed and released into the universe on Friday, 4/12/24. Now I’m ready to celebrate and share it with the world. Dark Sky Blue is a collection of songs I wrote during the darkest time of my life, wanting to heal through music and find my way back to the light. Many of these songs came from my journaling from the years of trying to understand what will never be understood to the decision to choose love and walk out of that darkness, one step in front of the other, one breath at a time until I could surrender and let Grace help me find a way towards healing and hope again.

These 10 songs were produced by Alex Wong in Nashville,TN. I told Alex I wanted the music to be just as healing as the lyric and melody. I also said if U2, Jeff Buckley and Sara Bareilles had a baby that’s what I want the music to sound like. Well, I got what I wanted and this record is unlike everything I’ve ever done before. I’m so excited to share it with you in hopes that these songs might help heal the hurting and loss you have experienced in your own life. Here are a few reviews I received so far.

"Eve Selis is a beacon of resilience and talent in the world of music, and 'Dark Sky Blue' is a testament to her unwavering dedication to her craft. With her soul-stirring voice and masterfully crafted songs, Eve invites listeners on a journey of healing and hope. This long-awaited release is a profound work of art that resonates deeply in today's world. 'Dark Sky Blue' is more than an album—it's a gift to the soul, a reminder of the power of music to uplift and inspire." Dave Lenahan, Host, Songwriter Connection Podcast

"At its best, art has the power to process the un-processable and turn it into something beautiful and this album does exactly that. One of the most courageous albums I’ve heard in a long time," - Alex Wong, Latin Grammy-Nominated Artist/Producer

"Eve is a tremendously talented singer/songwriter and her new LP, 'Dark Sky Blue' is a testament to her unparalleled faith and strength in life. Just when we feel like giving up, we remember that God put us here for a reason - to share our gifts with the world in our own unique way. Eve has an amazing gift and that is to enlighten people - she does just that through her music." Brandon Morrell, Host, The Backstage Pass Powered By The Sports Guys Podcast

I’m putting together my band members, Marc Intravaia, Rick Nash & Larry Grano along with my dear friend Chris Horvath and a string quartet. My niece, Lauren Leigh and kid, Cole De La Isla Kelsoe will be singing back ups and the Voices Of Our City Choir will join me onstage for a few songs as well as open the concert with a few of their original songs. This is going to be such a beautiful, uplifting, heart full and soul filling evening. You won’t want to miss it.
