essential Eve Selis CD - San Diego Music Hall Of Fame - October Update
Well it’s been a month... and it’s only 10/4!!
There is so much going on right now. Are you all feeling it too? So much disruption and chaos and beauty and calm and revelation and change. I feel like my tree has been SHOOK!!! Can I get an AMEN!! Marc Intravaia and I have been thinking about this for a while and we feel it is perfect timing to put together a ‘Best Of' CD we are calling essential Eve Selis. My friend, Lori Brookes designed the announcement artwork and I LOVE IT!!! And I want that guitar:) She said we could paint one. I would definitely play it...hmmm I wonder if Taylor Guitars would be interested?
We are asking our fans to select their favorite 6 Eve Selis songs from our CDs over the past 28+ years. Here is a link to my music page on my website as a reminder of our catalogue! eveselis.com/music Then if you are so inclined out of those six songs, choose one and tell us why it is your favorite song. Send your selections to eve@eveselis.com and we will include everyone’s comments with their names in the digital artwork.

Marc and I will do a thank you video talking about our collaboration, tell a few stories and of course tell you all how grateful we are for your support and friendship over the years. We LOVE you!
We will be scouring our history for photos and add videos as well.
I found a box of cassette tapes that I will be listening to in the hopes of adding a writing work tape of one or two of our songs from back in the day.
Marc started a History Of Us word document that I am going to add to as well. And there will be a few more surprises to make this CD extra special.
We will also have a physical CD available, which Lori will be designing the artwork for!

Come Be A Part Of Our Recording Session. We will be recording 2 new songs for this CD at Studio West on Sunday, 10/20 from 11:00am - 2pm. There is an opportunity for a limited number of fans to be there with us during the recording session. There will be video & photography recording the process which we will add to the digital release package as well! We will also have everyone there join us on the chorus of a classic Eve Selis song to add onto the end of the CD - Yes!!
If you’d like to be a part of this special event you will get a signed copy and the entire digital package for $50. This money will go to pay for the studio & engineer fees, as well as to Jeff Berkley who will be there co-producing these songs and mixing them and the CD manufacturing costs.
I'm really excited about sharing this CD with you all. Marc and I will always continue to play music together. We are family. And... over the past 4 years we have been moving in different directions in our lives and our music so more than likely this will be our last project together. We feel like this is a perfect way to wrap up our musical journey with a beautiful butterfly bow! And you know, 2021 is right around the corner so we will definitely have a 30th anniversary concert celebration!! Who knows... maybe it will be a sleep over!! Woohoo!!
We hope you are as excited about this CD as we are. We will have this done in time for the holiday’s and have it in hand at our annual Christmas Show at Vision A Center For Spiritual Living on 12/7.

BYOB and a lite bite or dessert to share and come enjoy our original songs while we are raising money for breast cancer research. There will be a silent auction and a 50/50 opportunity drawing. Oh and this is happening on Friday, 10/18! Marc and I are truly grateful for 28+ years of music and life events!! We've shared every life moment from birth to death, from divorce to marriage, from health issues to healing. We are bonded together forever. I have a really strong desire and clear vision on what I am meant to be doing right now and it’s not Marc’s vision for what he wants. That being said, we will still gig together when the opportunity arises. We teach guitar and voice in offices right next to each other. This is not the end it's a new beginning for both of us! It would mean a lot to have you there if you are able to come.
We can’t wait to hear your responses for our essential Eve Selis CD. We’ve shared this on social media already and their have definitely been some heart felt stories and sweet tears from us. We are truly blessed and overwhelmed by the response so far. Keep ‘em coming!!!
